How to use this teaching resource

  • Allow children to cut up the pages of the book and staple it together (great for small motor skills)
  • Another great way to reinforce the use of a question mark with littlies.
  • As a class – brainstorm animals that have tails – children can also then use this list to work from.
  • Why do animals have tails?  (good question!)
  • Instead of making into a book – print at ‘multiple pages per sheet’ print 4 in 1 – instructions here…here is the result…
  • my-reading-book-sample-1
  • ALL 4 PAGES PRINTED ON 1 A4 SHEET (PRINTER SETTINGS 4 PAGES PER SHEET)
  • my reading book sample 2
  • ALL 4 PAGES PRINTED OVER 2 A4 SHEETS (PRINTER SETTINGS – 2 PAGES PER SHEET)
