How to use this teaching resource

• Phonics Patterns – ‘all’ and ‘y’ on the end, are used regularly – relate to Phonics Printables Cards.

• It is fun to change the words around in this Nursery Rhyme.  Use phonic patterns to change Humpty Dumpty around.  For example – Lumpty Chumpty.  The children love making up these silly words.   Make up a class book using these silly words, circle the phonics patterns.

• Use our matching humpty dumpty nursery rhyme concept book to make up individual or class books – change the words around and don’t forget to do a word treasure hunt within each little book.
