How to prepare this resource:

  • Select and download the full colour or black and white version of this resource.
  • Print, cut and assemble the hundreds die, the tens die and the ones (units) die.

How to use this resource:

  • Ask the students to roll the hundred, tens and the ones (units) dice.
  • Students then record the number that they have generated in the correct place on the place value worksheet.

Differentiation:

  • Use the blank dice template to draw hundreds, tens and ones (units) blocks, and explore number up to 9999.
