How to use this teaching resource

  • Circle all the rhyming words – brainstorm more words that rhyme with ‘star’ , and ‘high’.
  • Replace the words Twinkle Twinkle with other words – eg Sparkle Sparkle / Shiny Shiny / Glowing Glowing Little Star….
  • A lovely classroom bulletin board could be made from this rhyme – pop the large size rhyme in the middle and ask the children to draw their faces onto stars.  Place them around the rhyme, on a black background.
  • Cut out lots of silver stars also, or cover star cardboard cut outs with foil.  This leads in really well with ‘Star of the Day’,  or ‘Star of the Week’.

Comments & Reviews

  • Thanks a lot! I teach English online throught webinars. And from my side I can say that the combination of convenience, interactivity, expert guidance, and practical application helped my students to make significant progress. While webinars were a crucial part of the journey, I also supplemented them with consistent reading, writing, and speaking practice to further solidify my skills. I found how to host webinars on webinarcare, there are many reviews about best software for hosting webinars too. I think online webinars are great tool for teaching and learning English these days.
