A subitising activity in which students match up pizza slices with different numbered toppings to a base pizza with numerals on it.
Students cut out the pizza slices with toppings and use their subitising skills to match it to the numerals on the base pizza.
This resource includes topping such as pepperoni, mushrooms and shrimp.
Why not encourage students to use counters to create the correct number of toppings for some more counting practice?
