Ideal to use as part of a literacy warm up activity when learning the letters and sounds of the alphabet. Alternatively, provide each child with their own flip book to refer to when they are beginning to write.
Children refer to their flip book when learning to read and write the letters and sounds of the alphabet.
How to use this teaching resource
Print, then individually cut and laminate each alphabet page.
Punch a hole in the top left-hand corner of each card and attach together with a key ring.
Provide each table group or child with a copy of the flip book.
What would come next – Children refer to the flip book when beginning to write. Encourage children to say out loud the beginning sound of the word they are trying to write, then flip through their book to find the letter that matches that sound.
