    • Phonics Patterns – ‘ck’ is used regularly – others include ‘ou’  ‘ee’  ‘y’  relate to Phonics Printables Cards.
    • Loads of rhyming words in these 4 verses.   Brainstorm lists of words that rhyme with ‘one’, ‘two’, ‘three’, ‘four’.
    • Using this list of words that rhyme – substitute words within the nursery rhyme.  For example – ……

    The mouse ran up the clock.
    The clock struck three ,
    the mouse ran free.

    • Older classes could also use our Adjectives, Nouns, Verbs, and Adverbs english vocabulary cards to replace other words within the rhyme and build some nursery rhyme parodies  –   For example –

    Hickory Dickory Dook
    The horse jumped over the chook
    The chook yelled stop,
    The horse did trot,
    Hickory Dickory Dook

  • This is a perfect gift for a few of my very young family members. We try to go to church every Sunday and for my little siblings, it is difficult to sit and pay attention the whole time. This will totally help and give them something to do.
